It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Symposium on Computational Intelligence for Engineering Systems ISCIES '2010, to be held in Coimbra, from 17 to 18 November 2010. This symposium aims to bring together experts from the field of Computational Intelligence to discuss on the state-of-the-art and to present new research findings and perspectives of future developments related to the symposium topics. It also will provide a stimulating discussion for scientists, engineers, educators, and students to disseminate the latest research findings and exchange information on emerging research areas in the field of Computational Intelligence. The aim of the organizers is to give an opportunity to academics, scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users from all over the world to come together in the pleasant city of Coimbra, to discuss recent developments in the most relevant applications areas.
 
In simultaneous with the International Symposium on Computational Intelligence for Engineering Systems ISCIES 2010 the 5th Workshoop of LIIT – Research Lab and Technology Innovation.
